After you report street light problems to FPL, PLEASE let us know so that VPCA can monitor repairs and follow up if necessary.  Just e-mail Utilities@VPCA.org and put "Street Light Report" and the street light's address in the subject line.

STREET LIGHT OUT? Call FPL at 1-800-468-8243 Provide FPL with: the location of the streetlight or the 11-digit number mounted on the pole,   a description of the problem and   contact info: your name, address, email or phone number

UTILITY POLE ETIQUETTE FPL does not want to have to trim vegetation from your poles, as a homeowner it should be included in the routine maintenance of your home. If it is your neighbor's vegetation, please discuss it with your neighbor before call FPL to come and trim If it is the actual pole that is the problem then send the information to Jay Holloway including a brief description of the problem, the pole number (on a small metal tag), note whether it is an FPL or BellSouth pole (FPL's are flat on top)
