Over the last three weeks, the faith-based organization Samaritan’s Purse has been a tremendous partner in disaster relief. Already their volunteer teams helped over 300 homeowners to remove their personal property and furniture, did flood cleanup, and sanitized homes for mold with shockwave treatment to prevent further health threats.  However, they still have over 110 service requests and we need your help over the next two weeks, Monday through Saturday.

To volunteer, arrive at First Baptist Church Fort Lauderdale, 416 NE 1 St, Fort Lauderdale, 33301 by 7:30 am or 12:30 pm for a volunteer safety orientation.  The team will leave immediately for their assignment thereafter.  Please wear comfortable working clothes and closed-toed shoes that you do not mind getting dirty.  All tools will be provided.

If you are looking for a meaningful corporate team building experience, this is a great opportunity that will leave your team members with a feeling that they really helped to improve a neighbor’s life.
