The completion estimate for work in this area has been extended from July to September 2026 due to extended pressure testing of the newly lined pipe.
Through September 2026, cured-in-place pipe lining of approximately 1,500 feet of sewer lines is taking place between E. Sunrise Blvd and NE 8th Ct along:
- NE 16th Ave
- NE 9th St
- NE 18th Ave
The following roads are closed in both directions throughout construction:
- A portion of NE 16th Ave running north and south through the intersection of NE 9th St
- NE 9th St between NE 16th Ave and NE 16th Ter
- NE 9th St between NE 17th Ave and NE 17th Ter
- NE 9th St between N Victoria Park Rd and NE 18th Ave
- A portion of NE 18th Ave, beginning at the intersection of NE 9th St and heading north
The following intersections are closed throughout construction:
- NE 9th St and NE 16th Ave
- NE 9th St and N Victoria Park Rd
- NE 9th St and NE 18th Ave
